Haiti's horrifying earthquake has left near-apocalyptic devastation in its wake. It's hard not to feel helpless while reading about the endless loss, the dire situation and the scale of reconstruction efforts to come.

YIKES.....Winter BITES

Today was just ridiculously C.O.L.D. I'm talking the kind of cold that starts IN your bones and works it's way out. Luckily I had just completed a few of my newl large scarves and stayed toasty warm wrapped inside of one :) Now available in my shop.

Holy Cowl!

Okay, so I admit I have gone a little cowl crazy but these babies are SO warm and toasty and easy to wear when you don't want to mess with having a scarf hanging in the way....AND you can even pull these up over your head and ears and wear them like a hat! I highly suggest these for those brisk winter evening walks or while you're out shopping...

Happy New Year

Well, that's the end of a decade and now it's the start of a new one. What did you accomplish in 2009 and what would you like to do in 2010?

In 2009 I really got my Etsy shop going and created lots of new goodies:

I ran my first magazine ad in ALIVE! Very exciting!

I spent quality time with family & good friends, some old and some new:

So what will 2010 bring? I'm not sure which direction my life will go in, but I do know that I want it to be special and that I want to make the most of it. I want to grow my business even more and make tons of new crafty things...I want to start new vintage collections...I want to make my life as stress free as possible and will do what I need to do to accomplish it...I want to spend more time with good friends doing things I enjoy...I want to take better care of myself so that I can take better care of those around me...I want to travel and be with my family in Africa...I want as much happiness as possible :) 2010 is going to be a fantabulous year, I just know it!!!
